ABOUT US

Function first. Details matter.

WHO WE ARE

Renovations designed around real life

Roume Construction is a residential renovation company serving Laval, Montréal, Saint-Laurent and Nouveau-Bordeaux. We focus on practical improvements that make a home easier to use, maintain and enjoy—from one carefully planned room to coordinated renovations across several spaces.

OUR APPROACH

Plan before we build

Every project begins with a conversation about what is not working, the existing conditions and the result you want. We review access, dimensions, materials, utilities and the sequence of work before defining a realistic scope. You can start with our project planner to share details and photographs and receive a preliminary planning range; an on-site assessment is used to verify the work.

WHAT WE DO

One contractor for connected renovation work

Our work spans kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, laundry conversions, flooring installation and refinishing, drywall and plaster repairs, painting, interior carpentry, stairs and railings, doors and windows, and basement renovations. Where a project requires several trades, we coordinate the work so finishes, services and schedules are considered together.

BETTER USE OF SPACE

Making existing space work harder

Not every improvement requires an addition. A poorly arranged laundry area can become a concealed laundry closet; an awkward corner can become useful storage; a dated kitchen can gain better circulation. Our smart-space renovations prioritize function, proportion and clean detailing.

RECONSTRUCTION

Careful rebuilding after damage

After water-damage cleanup and appropriate drying or remediation, reconstruction may involve walls, insulation, ceilings, flooring, trim and finishes. We distinguish reconstruction from emergency water removal and remediation, and review the existing condition before confirming what needs to be rebuilt.

DETAILS THAT MATTER

Finishes are part of the solution

Subfloor preparation, tile alignment, trim transitions, lighting locations, ventilation clearances and access panels all affect how a finished renovation performs. We plan these details early and adapt the design to the actual home.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE

Serving Laval and Montréal

Roume works on residential projects in Laval and Montréal, including Saint-Laurent and Nouveau-Bordeaux. Older homes, condominiums and different building configurations can present different constraints. Permit, engineering and specialist-trade requirements are reviewed according to the location and scope of the project.

WORKING TOGETHER

Clear steps and informed decisions

Our process is straightforward: describe your goals, share photographs and approximate dimensions, review a preliminary range, request an assessment, then confirm the scope and selections before construction. We aim to explain the practical trade-offs so you can make informed decisions.

OUR COMMITMENT

Spaces that work

A successful renovation is not only about the first impression. It should make everyday tasks easier, bring finishes together and suit the people who live there. That principle guides our planning, construction and finishing work.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answers before you begin

What areas does Roume Construction serve?

Roume Construction serves Laval and Montréal, including Saint-Laurent and Nouveau-Bordeaux. Project availability depends on location and scope.

Does Roume handle small renovation projects?

Yes. Focused projects such as drywall repairs, flooring, painting, laundry conversions and finish carpentry can be assessed alongside larger renovations.

Can Roume coordinate several rooms at once?

Yes. Whole-home and multi-room renovation planning helps coordinate work across kitchens, bathrooms, floors and other connected spaces.

How do I get a renovation estimate?

Start with the project planner, describe the space and upload photos. The initial range is preliminary; a site assessment is needed to verify scope and pricing.

Does Roume work on homes after water damage?

Roume offers reconstruction after suitable cleanup and drying or remediation. Emergency mitigation and reconstruction are different stages.

Will I need permits or specialist trades?

That depends on the work and municipality. Structural, electrical, plumbing and other regulated work may require permits or appropriately qualified specialists.
